Increasing the chances of survival
Women are more likely to die because their bra was not removed when using a defibrillator. The simple act of removing the bra when using a defibrillator can save a life and ensures the safe use during lifesaving emergencies.
Understanding the challenges
How less likely women are to have CPR done on them, as compared to men
Annual UK Out Of Hospital cardiac arrests (where resuscitation is attempted) with less than a 10% survival rate
How less likely women are to survive safe use of an AED, as compared to men

The BODO training workshop is designed to change our ‘shocking’ behaviour one bra at a time.
The course covers best practise in CPR, use of a defibrillator and how to remove the bra.
